How To Reset Belkin Range Extender

In this article, we will explore how to reset the Belkin range extender as its factory default.

Reset Belkin Range Extender –

There are two types that you reset your belkin range extender.

Soft Reset will work if you are already connected to Belkin Range Extender regardless via Wireless or Ethernet wired.

Plug the extender to the power outlet & turn the power on.
Connect the Belkin range extender with a Computer with the help of an Ethernet cable or Use a wireless device connection such as a smartphone or tablet to connect with the extender network. (Via Wired – connect an Ethernet cable from your extender to your laptop or desktop.)
Open your internet Browsers such as Firefox, Safari, Google, Or Microsoft Edge.
Type http://Belkin.range Or 192.168.206.1 to open the Belkin console
Once Logged in you can Go Under Utilities and click on Restore Factory Defaults. (From here you can reset all the settings of your extender back to factory defaults.)
After reset please Restart the range extender and setup it using fresh settings.

Plug the extender to power outlet & turn the power on.
Look at the bottom of range extender to find a reset key button or a tiny hole that says Reset.
Press the reset key button & hold it till you see all light on belkin extender starts flashing.
Reboot the Extender by turning the power switch On & Off.
Now your Belkin range extender has been successfully Reset & Ready to be configured as like new.
